I felt like this week was really focused on continuing to learn. I also wrote about this on my Discussion board posting, because I think it's a very important principal to remember. The most important thing that I took from this article about Magdalena Yesil, was to never stop learning. I think Magdalena was a wonderful example of constantly wanting to learn, to grow, and to be her best self. She talks about her wok experiences being like, “the MBA she never got”. When I was first married, I was offered a position to go full time in the Marketing Department, and I hadn’t received my Bachelor’s yet. My husband and I were freshly married, he was in school full time preparing for Dental School, and it was an amazing offer, with better pay and we couldn’t dismiss it. I felt like at times I was learning more in my Marketing position than I would at school sitting in classes. I then went to work full time and put my schooling aside for the time being, and it was the...

I really enjoyed the readings this week. I think that all of us go through trial and error when we are trying to figure ourselves out. When I put my schooling to the side so that I could work full time and have my husband go to school full time, it came easily. We never bickered or had a hard time deciding what I should do, because it just fell into our laps and felt like what we were supposed to do. Randy seems like such a determi...

I can't believe week one of BYUI Online is already over. I have to say I'm a little disappointed in myself, because I didn't focus and study as much as I wanted to this week. Yes, I had to already drop 2 classes, but I'm also working full time, so I just need to find the balance for online schooling. I'm really interested in this Entrepreneur's class already, and I'm excited to share the things I learn with my husband. He's in his last year of dental school, and I think studying business, along with taking this class will help us both have a successful family business. I also hope to have my own business as well one day, so i'm just really excited to learn more about being successful, and how we start. I'm looking forward to starting fresh next week, and have the goal to have all of my assignments and tasks done by Friday evening. I'm also looking forward to the videos that we have to watch as part of our assignments, because they look really...
